Simple Sun and Moon Tutorial

Before you go asking for help. I know that some things need an explanation.

Sun
1. Fold the paper vertical and horizontal.
2. Blitz fold the corners to the center on the white side.
3. Blitz fold the corners again. Then fold the tips back to the edge made by the blitz fold for a reference. Take the edge of the blitz fold then an fold it on top of the reference fold.

Moon
1. Vertical fold the paper in half an fold both edges to the center on the white side.
2. I often to refer this as a cabinet when you look from the other side. From the closed side mountain fold it so that there is only one open side.
***NOTE-The left side is always the open side in this tutorial***
3. You'll fold it in half horizontal, but the next part is a preference fold. You have to make sure the angle of the moon is small enough that it gives a crescent shape, but bigger than 90 degrees.
4.One of the difficult parts of the moon, but all you do is inside reverse fold or crimp the overlaying part inside of the moon. The easiest way is to unfold it back to 2 then use the horizontal fold first an a then use the diagonal fold an fold it in half horizontal at the same time. This gets you to step five, the left side is still the open side and both sides are the same.
5.The ends of five might not look like a rectangle in the reference, but they are. All you have to do is fold the edges on the top an the bottom to the closed side into the open part of the model.
